In detail
With the permissions of whoever asks, not its own
The assistant queries the database using that person’s session. If they cannot see something, neither does the query. It is not a rule written into the assistant: it is the same one that applies to the screens.
It always says it is an AI
In every conversation, not just the first time. And it warns that it can be wrong, recommending that any important grade or date be confirmed on its own screen.
The school decides whether to turn it on
It can switch it off entirely, exclude particular roles and cap how many queries each person can make per day.
There is a record of what was queried
The tool used and the moment are stored, so it can be audited. The content of the answers is not stored.
